Arriving at Borgo Santo Pietro, is like arriving in heaven. A dramatic statement, but true. We arrived, someone took our car keys and dealt with our bags and we were handed prosecco and encouraged to explore the beautiful grounds.

Rocco, the gorgeous peacock, was part of our welcoming committee
Our first night we did an amazing wine tasting in the cellar with their sommelier. The sommelier was incredible, he catered the tasting to us and we had the best hour chatting with him, drinking wine and eating some meat & cheese. Would highly recommend doing the wine tasting.
The first night we had an amazing dinner at their Michelin starred restaurant Meo Modo. After dinner, the sommelier brought us each a different complimentary glass of wine that he picked especially for us. We enjoyed our glasses while playing a game of chess in the main living room.
They have the most incredible breakfast spread every morning.
Walking to our Cooking Class with Mama, a total highlight of the trip.
Sadly my camera died so I didn’t get pictures of all the incredible food we made but we had the best time and the food was mindblowing! I highly recommend doing one of their cooking class, we loved doing the cooking class with Mama.
They offer so many activities to do during your stay, and the concierge is incredible at making sure you have the best time possible. Horseback riding, tennis, croquet, to packing you a gourmet picnic they will ensure your experience is perfect. You can also opt to sit by the pool or explore and wander around the incredible grounds of the property.
We also dined at their more casual Treehouse restaurant, which was fabulous and romantic!
This may be the most perfect hotel in the world for a honeymoon, everything about our stay was incredible! I fell totally in love with this hotel and I will definitely be returning as soon as I can. When James and I talk about our three weeks in Italy, we always come back to this magical spot. I know there are a ton of picture but they don’t even begin to capture the enchanting beauty and heart of this breathtaking property.
