I love Charleston – pretty much everyone who has been does too – though, for me, it is much more than a beautiful city, it is also home. I love going back and visiting my parents, walking around South of Broad, strolling down King Street and the restaurants. My favorite author, Pat Conroy, does Charleston justice in his writing, and whenever I am feeling homesick I reach for my all time favorite book, The Lords of Discipline. I love all his books and view them as a kind of love story to the low country, when reading his books I am instantly transported home. Lucky for me, last week I got to visit in person and spend the whole week at home.

While I was home, I had perfect fall weather – no need for a jacket just a sweater! Rag and Bone is my most owned (favorite) brand of jeans, and I love these boots (bought my first pair in black last year) and not only do they look good, but man are they comfy. J. Crew sweaters are a staple in my fall/winter wardrobe, and I tend to lean towards more neutral colors that I never tire of and will always be in style. The Etro scarf got me the perfect pop of color and also provided some warmth towards the end of the day. Got to love an outfit that works for both day and night.

I am so glad I discovered Cuyana this summer and know this will continue to be a go-to company for me. I gave my mom one of their gorgeous totes for her birthday with her initials and bought one for myself as a perfect everyday bag (How could I not?!). The bags are incredibly well made, classic and at a great price too. These totes have already become my go-to gift for friends, and this company is filled with a lot of classic staples.
