My perfect early fall outfit and it is filled with staple items everyone should own. This has been my go-to for casual dinners, lunches, meeting up with friends and even traveling. The key to a perfect daytime outfit in nyc is layers – the temperature changes throughout the day, sunny verse shady side of the street and the going in and out of stores and restaurants – you need to be prepared to add and subtract layers.

Theory makes what I believe is the perfect white shirt – I have spent years in search of this shirt. I think the key is in the length not too short and not awkwardly long. Invest in this shirt – I promise you will thank me (my only note is that I think the shirt run slightly big). I purchased this leather jacket after doing a fair amount of research, and I could not be happier. I think it works for both day and night and the color-block makes it even more versatile.

The YSL purse was a birthday present from my parents, and I am mildly obsessed with it! It is classic and timeless and in my mind Birkin-esque.

J Brand jeans work really well for me since I am short – 5’2 – I rarely have to hem them.

My shoe closet is a sea of Lanvin flats. I think they are the perfect flat – they do not stretch out, great colors, both leather and patent leather are amazing! Living in New York I have found and investment in comfortable and stylish shoes to be very important – these fit the bill!
