Bluestone Lane Cafe | whatsarahknows

Blue Stone Lane | Australian Cafe & Coffee Shop in the West Village

Blue Stone Lane is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood, it is perfect for a coffee or a delicious bite to eat. This coffee shop is a picture perfect sun-flooded cafe located on a great street in the West Village. On a warm sunny day, grab a table on the sidewalk cafe and enjoy the great people watching, food and buzz of the city! Their Avocado Smash is one of the best avocado toasts in the city, and that is saying something! I am a huge fan of their brekkie board (see above) which is a combo of their avocado smash and the yogurt & granola.

Jack’s Wife Freda | West Village

This light airy restaurant is my idea of a perfect lunch! I walked in on a gray Monday and the vibe and style of the place instantly boosted my mood. Even in the winter, this was an oasis of happiness! The menu has something on it for everyone, whether you want to stick to your diet or splurge a little…

Perry Street Brunch | whatsarahknows

Perry St | Brunch

One of the most underrated restaurants in NYC (along with Tocqueville), in my opinion.  I love to go for dinner, even if it’s just snagging two seats at the bar, but we recently went for brunch and I was blown away! I took an Instagram of our delicious brunch beverages at Perry St, when we went awhile back when my mom was in town. I have dreams about their rice cracker crusted Tuna with the Sriracha-Citrus Emulsion, it is life changing good. Also, they have a really awesome fried chicken entree too in case you’re feeling naughty. The setting of this restaurant is gorgeous, and I love the views of the West Side Highway and the Hudson River. The fact that this restaurant flies under the radar means you can usually always get a table, and when the food is this good, it makes this restaurant a huge win!

Santa Maria Novella in Soho

I discovered this amazing company while in Italy and now am officially obsessed. I recently headed to their Soho store to stock up on my favorites items. Santa Maria Novella was one of the world’s first pharmacies in Florence in 1221. Many of the original products and remedies are there too and remain incredibly popular. Every batch is handmade by skilled artisans using age-old techniques in the brand’s factory in Florence. Their store in Florence is truly stunning and I put it firmly on my must-see list for Florence.
