Cafe Clover West Village | whatsarahknows

James and I in an effort to clean up our diet, headed to Cafe Clover last Friday for an amazing dinner. We sat outside, took in the great street scene and it was the perfect evening. Cafe Clover is a great health-conscious New American restaurant in the West Village that has great food and delicious seasonal cocktails! I had the Barbarita Margarita that was insanely delicious and the perfect summer margarita – made with Watermelon. The standout dishes were the octopus a la plancha, the Scottish Salmon in Red Curry, and the green market salads. This is a fun, healthy dinner or lunch spot with great indoor and outdoor seating and a happy vibe!

Awhile back, I did a post on No Fail Recipes for Entertaining and I included a Pizza Party, which I did with a group a friends a few weeks later. Not to toot my own horn, but it it is one of the most fun dinner parties because everyone gets involved and has a blast! Added bonus, you do the prep work and then the pressure is off! Pizza, wine and great friends is an unbeatable combination.

{Filet at Sant Ambroeus West Village | Happy & Fun Monday night dinner}

Sant Ambroeus has such a great location in the West Village and excellent outdoor seating (with amazing people watching), so it is a no brainer for a fun dinner on a lovely night. After a tough Monday, James and I decided to treat ourselves to a fun meal out and I was craving a bellini after lots of honeymoon planning, so we decided to head to Sant Ambroeus. A fun dinner out and some wine is the ultimate cure for a case of the Mondays!
