My perfect Saturday in the city usually begins early at Jack’s Coffee, preferably without a hangover, ready to explore NY neighborhoods. It can be incredibly difficult to take in the city and the sunshine with a hangover, because I will want to grab my coffee and take it right back to my sofa. It’s behavior I’m working away from because no one wins with a hangover. Bella loses her big walk and I don’t take any pictures because no one looks cute wearing sweatpants on the sofa. Anyway I digress, back to the perfect day where I have worked out, showered, feel great and am on my way to get my morning coffee (like above photo). Bella has me well trained – she patiently waits outside of Jacks hoping for a bit of croissant and then promptly pulls in the direction of Washington Square Park. This outfit is continuing on my current layering kick. Theory currently has a section on their website called The Art of Layering and I am actually wearing an old Theory sweater here, so I can attest to how great their clothing layers! I love the Club Monaco Asia Sweater which is made with a mix layer in one piece – allowing you to achieve the look without even thinking! J. Crew has a ton of color options for a light layering sweater too.
