Sometimes a rainy Saturday can be the best excuse to stay in, watch some tv and relax. This Saturday was just that, no plans and the whole day to enjoy. For those of you who loved and miss Downton Abbey, I highly recommend checking out Doctor Thorne. James and I devoured the whole mini-series on Saturday.

Brooklyn Date Night

We broke out of our West Village neighborhood dining rut and headed to Brooklyn for drinks then dinner on Friday night. Maison Premiere has been on our must-try list for a while and after going we intend on returning soon. The cocktails were fantastic, the oysters some of the best ever and the setting was lovely. James martini was made tableside and came with a dollop of caviar – a perfectly indulgent way to kick off the weekend. Following cocktails and oysters, we headed over to the Llama Inn for dinner.

Sunday was pretty much the perfect Fall day and everyone was out enjoying the weather. We went to Red Farm for a dim sum brunch which was amazing. All the Halloween decor is in full swing around NYC and it was fun to see it all. I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!
