Paris in the Fall

We touched down in Paris on a beautiful Fall day and checked into my favorite Paris hotel, Plaza Athenée, where we were taken to the most incredible room with this spectacular view!

When the hotel leaves you a bottle of Champagne and it’s 11 am in Paris you pop that bad boy and take in one of the most magical cities!

We had some Champagne in our room, showered, changed and headed out for our first day in Paris. We didn’t want to miss a beat and my belief about jet-lag is you don’t give into it and power through the first day, and that is exactly what we did. We head out for an incredible three Michelin star lunch at Epicure. Epicure is what three-star dining should be from the food, to the service, and the setting. Everything about this meal experience was perfection and if you are looking for the epitome of three-star dining in Paris, I would look no further!

The most incredible lunch and the perfect way to start our trip to France!

Post lunch, we walked all over Paris. It was the perfect way to take in the city, walk off lunch, and keep us awake.

We walked all around the city and then headed back to the hotel to get ready for our first night in town. We had drinks at The Plaza Athenée Bar and then headed to dinner at Bistrot Paul Bert.

Bistrot Paul Bert has been on my list for a long time and it did not disappoint! I will definitely return on future visits because it is that perfect french bistro you imagine “discovering” and dining at in Paris.

We had breakfast at the hotel that morning and then we went out to enjoy our second day in Paris.

We headed to one of our favorite spots for souffle’s, La Cigale Recamier, for lunch.

We had a lovely dinner at Les Tablettes Jean-Louis Nomicos. The next morning we got up early, picked up our rent-a-car and to head down to Burgundy.
