I don’t know about you, but winter has me dreaming of being on a beach! NYC in January involves lots of jackets, warm clothes and usually overcast dreary days. I don’t mean to hate on the city I love, but a little vacation with sun and sand sounds pretty perfect to me right about now. I read a lot of blogs and a lot of the people I follow live in cities like LA or Dallas and get to wear fabulous outfits year round. I get some fun winter outfits in, but my main objective is to keep warm which doesn’t always translate to a good outfit. Maybe it was being greeted back to the city by a Polar Vortex, but I am planning my February escape to a beach now!

I know we are solidly in winter, but I am ready for the next season to arrive. I have been searching online for the best resort wear and here and some of my favorite finds. What I love about resort and beachwear is you don’t need to pack a lot to look fantastic and chic! A few bathing suits, a few cover ups and something fun to wear at night and you have a great vacation wardrobe! Here are a few things that I will be slipping into my bag! I love the Joi Nice Sandals and buy a new pair every year because I wear them so often. They go with everything!

My love affair with Pucci started at a young age, but I realize a little goes along way though it also never goes out of style.

I am always on the hunt for new sunglasses – recently Oliver Peoples have been topping my list. What are your favorites?

My resort board above is somewhat inspired by my trip to Mexico last spring and what I wore there!
