Restaurant Spotlight | Bohemian

oysters at Bohemian

This intriguing restaurant is located down an unmarked hallway, next to a butcher shop and fronted by a thick glass door. I first had the pleasure of dining at Bohemian in 2011 and it has remained one of my favorite spots in the city. I was first drawn here not only because of the incredible reviews, but also because of the secrecy and elusiveness of getting a table. Despite the difficulty of getting a reservation and the somewhat secret location, the staff are some of the most welcoming and hospital of any restaurants I have been to. The zen like spot feels as if you are dining at the the private home of one of your very cool and hip friends. The space is small, intimate but relaxing and the food is amazing! Over the years, I have tried most of the menu and it is all fantastic but I of course have some favorites on the menu. The cocktails are also very good! One of my top picks for dinner in NYC – Cheers!
