The weather this May has been a little colder and grayer than I would have liked. Last Wednesday was one of the only sunny days we have had in a while and I took full advantage. I didn’t have the Winter blues this year because it was a pretty mild winter, but I have been very disappointed by the weather this Spring. Until last Thursday, it felt like I hadn’t seen the sun in three weeks and it was crazy how much the dull weather affected me. To be honest, working out and eating healthy became harder and in general my mood and energy were way down. For me to beat the blues, I worked out with a friend (help get me to the gym), took a bath after a long day, and tried to cook a fun meal at home with a glass of wine. Somehow pasta is much more for fun to cook than a veggies stir fry….
