Simple, Easy & Healthy Tortilla Pizzas

Tortilla Pizza

So simple and yet so satisfying! I love thin crust pizza, and while the idea of delivery pizza is pretty exciting – I usually end up with a soggy, greasy, mediocre pie. Yes, sometimes you get an excellent pizza, but I have found these tortilla pizzas to hit the spot because they aren’t too heavy while still being tasty. I have made this for lunch, dinner, even an afternoon snack and I highly recommend them when you are craving something delicious.

So easy. So good.


1 whole wheat tortilla (or whole wheat pita bread would work too)
Sauce or sauces of your choosing spread out (marinara, pesto, olive oil and garlic)
Cheese of your choosing spread out shredded/crumbled/sliced (mozzarella, cheddar, goat, ricotta)
Toppings (go crazy with whatever you like!)


Preheat the oven to 425 degrees
Spread sauce evenly across the tortilla, leaving small space around the edges. Sprinkle with cheese and toppings.
Transfer tortilla to pizza stone in the oven (if that is the method you are using) or place in 12-inch cast iron pan to cook.
Bake for 10-14 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbling and the edges of the tortilla are lightly browned. Slice and serve.

Notes: If you have a pizza stone have that in the oven as you preheat. You could also use a sheet pan if need be.
