There are a few things that I wear over and over all summer long. It is hot in summer and you don’t want or need a lot of “crap” weighing you down. I have put together my go-to quick list for Summer. A great pair of white jeans is a must and I’m obsessed with these Frame Jeans, they have the perfect amount of stretch to make them comfortable and super flattering. These are also cropped so if your like me and around 5’2, they fit perfectly and don’t need to be hemmed. Sunscreen is so stupidly important and when I wear it on my face it is really important that it does’t clog my pores and cause me to break out. My dermatologist recommended this for my face last summer and it has been a staple for me ever since. I also have the most sensitive skin ever! Most sunscreens cause me to break out in hives (sorry for the overshare but it’s true) and therefore I always have to be careful in finding a great sunscreen that works for me. I have been using Shiseido Sunscreen for about two years and really love it, the smell and texture I think are great so it has me reapplying which is the most important. A great summer bag is a must as well as a few key beauty products that can enhance your summer glow without adding a lot of heavy products to your face (which is never good when it is hot and humid out!). Also, every stylish New Yorker I have passed on the street is sporting a hat that not only has them looking good, but is also protecting their skin from the sun. Definitely, a trend I had to be part of. One last thing, a great summer read! I am currently reading this book (which is amazing), but when I finish I will definitely be picking up Eight Hundred Grapes.
