Northeast Harbor, Maine holds a very special place in my heart. It is a place where I have grown up spending my Summers and I try to get up there for as long as I can every year. As I have gotten older, holy crap I turn thirty tomorrow, I don’t get the two months of bliss up there I got as a child, but this Summer I was lucky enough to get a full ten days. So excuse my lack of posting, but I was on vacation and I tried to relax and take a break. We were incredibly active in Maine with lots of hiking, boating, golfing, playing tennis, eating and having fun! I have recently been attempting to take up golf, so I took lots of lessons, which was equal parts fun, comical and frustrating. We did lots of hiking and even made it up the Dorr Mountain ladder trail twice this summer, which is basically like being on a supercharged stair master for thirty minutes. If you want a challenge and are in the area, I highly recommend this hike! I wanted to share a little bit of Maine with you all so here are some photos from my trip!
Mornings in Maine on the porch with the dogs! When at our house we spend most of our time on this corner of the porch. This Summer we played lots of Monopoly, which was so much fun! I promptly ordered a board for our apartment in NYC the day we got back.
Eligible was the first book I read during our vacation in Maine and I adored it! A very smart and funny read that will have you totally engrossed.

Love to go to Beal’s Lobster Pound in Southwest Harbor for lobster rolls, onion rings and a beer!
