New York City on a warm Spring day is pretty unbeatable, the city comes alive and everyone is outdoors enjoying the weather. I love everyone grabbing drinks and eating along sidewalk cafe’s that seem to have popped up overnight. This past weekend was the first bit of warm 70-degree weather and everyone seemed to be out enjoying themselves. This Sunday after a run along the Westside Highway, we went to brunch with some friends at the new Cafe Perla, which was amazing. The decor is lovely and the vibe upbeat, they had all the windows open so you felt like you were outside – it was perfect! I had a Spring pea and parmesan omelette, which came with avocado toast and was delicious. After lunch, we walked back to our apartment and went up to the roof with some rose! A few friends ended up stopping by and we sat on the roof with a few bottles of wine, a meat and cheese plate and ordered pizza – a perfect Sunday in New York.
